Reynaud & Gaillard have just completed the new headquarters for Harry Winston in Geneva, one of the world’s leading diamond jewellers and watchmakers.
The building is located on the last available plot near the Vacheron Constantin building, in the Geneva suburban industrial zone specifically allocated to watch making factories.
The 5,000m² complex is divided into two buildings, of which the main building houses the design, marketing and administrative services. The second building, which is connected by a glass corridor to the main building, is dedicated to the production activity. The structural concept allows for the building to be extended by one floor if and when required in the future.
The production building has been designed to allow maximum natural daylight penetration into the production areas, through the use of large panels of glass and roof lights.
Indian black stone cladding has been used to cover the front façade, creating a dramatic, monumental entrance.
The main building also features a large atrium with a conference room and a display room for the latest ‘Harry Winston Rare Timepieces’.
The fully air-conditioned offices are equipped with glass partitioning and wooden acoustic ceilings. Solar protection is achieved through external micro-perforated solar blinds.
Interior design was carried out by Lekoni SA Geneva.
